Scott Albrecht’s ‘Along The Way’

Brooklyn based artist Scott Albrecht recently opened a soloexhibition of new work, ‘Along The Way’, at Philadelphia’s TrickGo gallery.Featuring a mixture of graphic hand lettering on aged book pages or salvagedbook covers and geometric woodcuts housed within reassigned drawers, thework explores personal memories and events in the artist’s life. Captured inthe clipped phrases or secretly coded within the geometric patterns, the ephemeralthemes of memory and time radiate a sincere nostalgia with a touch of modernromance.
