Rik Lee stands out brightly amongst thebarrage of young artists painting and drawing tattooed portraits.There are various reasons for this, ranging from small things such asa love for weather to his location – Australia – but I feel it hassomething to do with the duality of his pieces. Lee is highlysuccessful in his abilities to draw the individual and then separatethem from the tattoos that decorate their bodies, or in other piecesthe ability to incorporate tattoo elements into the highly detailedscenes. – Zach Tutor
