Now on view till mid-December at the baroque Chateau de Versailles is the latest grand installation by Japan’s leading pop master, Takashi Murakami. Eleven site-specific pieces have been installed throughout the royal palace and the exhibit has been met with as much controversy as accolade as the two styles have come together fusing modern and 17th century opulence. Versailles was kind enough to send our readers a few gorgeous photos of the works in the palace, check them out here on Hi-Fructose.
