The Packing Tape Installations of For Use/Numen

The Croation/Austrian design collective For Use/Numen recently caught our eye with their sprawling and sticky spideweb-like installation last week at the DMY Berlin's International Design Fair. Consisting of nearly 100 pounds of packing tape (that's around 117,000 feet!), the group's interactive sculpture allows the viewer to crawl right into the heart of the spider's lair, nestling comfortably in a cocoon or exploring the structure's tunnels and pathways. Get wrapped up in some more pictures after the jump.
