Hot off the heels of the New World invasion of the Bristol Museum (which we covered here), Strychnin Gallery in Berlin hosted an similarly themed show themselves. Entitled “Conquistadors”, this show focuses also on art from the New World, albeit a bit more southerly. With a strong showing of Latin American artists (as well as some Spanish) “Conquistadors” looks to promote the strong, yet often times overlooked, scenes arising in Spain and South America. Included in the show’s stellar line-up are HF-favorites Herbert Baglione, Escif, Rene Almanza, Dixon, San, Gabriel Moreno, and many, many more.
