McBess Rhymes with Awesome

European/English artist McBess' energy-filled drawings always make me want to draw. So why am I writing this blog post instead? Because his work is infectious and we like to start epidemics (at least of the good kind, you homeland security prole). We did a big ol' feature on him in Hi-fructose Vol.8. He has a show at Chicago's Rotofugi Friday with media mix-master Netherland, in a loosely music themed show entitled "Overdrive." Check out McBess' series of hyper contrast red, yellow and blue drawings and more here and if you're in the area, be sure to say hello, as he's headed to Chicago for the opening.
