Video: Royal de Luxe – Around The World

On the morning of Sunday, May 7 the little girl giant woke up at Horseguards Parade in London, took a shower from the time-traveling elephant and wandered off to play in the park…

Then she ambled on to Antwerp, Belgium…

A hop and skip later, she arrives in Reyjavik, Iceland for a shower and getting dressed…

After such a long walk, all the way to Chile, she “walked in downtown Santiago to “Plaza de Armas” and there she went to bed, tired of so much walking, cycling and “dancing”!

Royal de Luxe spent years planning their London debut of The Little Girl Giant (aka The Sultan’s Elephant) in May 2006. The story is about a time-travelling girl, which has taken place so far in cities of France, Belgium, England, Iceland, and Chile using gigantic puppets.

The Sultan’s Elephant is the fifth in a series by the French mechanical marionette street theatre company, founded in 1979 by Jean Luc Courcoult. Other stories include The Giant Falls From The Sky, Return to Africa, The Giraffe Hunters, and The Hidden Rhinoceros.
